What's not in the app
No photo ID, no AI diagnosis. Just what you need to decide whether to water.
Heads up: records live on your phone and never reach a server. With Google backup on, they can be restored on a new phone signed in to the same account.

Does the app tell me when to water?
No. It tells you when to check the soil. Push a finger in up to the second knuckle. If it's dry, tap Water. If it's still damp, tap Water later.
Is it free?
Yes. All current features are free, with no subscription and no ads.
Do I need an account?
No. Your plants and records are stored on your phone and never sent to a server. It works without internet.
Will my records move to a new phone?
The app has no backup of its own. If Google backup is on, your records can be restored on a new phone signed in to the same Google account. If it's off, switching phones or deleting the app erases them.
I'm not getting reminders.
Check notification permission and battery optimisation in Settings. Some phones delay notifications to save battery, so it helps to exclude PlantTempo. Even without a reminder, the app shows what's due today.
Do I have to change the interval every season?
Set the monthly adjustment once and it applies each month on its own, to all plants or to individual ones.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not right now. PlantTempo is Android only, in English and Korean.
