PlantTempo Privacy Policy
PlantTempo has no sign-up, login, ads, analytics, or server. The plants and records you enter are stored on your phone and never sent to a server. Align Place Corp. (“we”) does not receive or keep this information.
1. Information stored on your device
The app stores the following on your device so it can work. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else. For Google backup on your device, see section 5.

We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, contacts, or location.
2. Network and third parties
The app does not connect to the internet to work. It uses no analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, not server push notifications.
We therefore do not share or sell your information, use processors, or transfer it abroad. The one possible exception is Android’s automatic backup, described in section 5.
3. Permissions
- Notifications (Android 13 and later): to remind you which plants to check at the time you set. Without it, you can still see today’s plants in the app.
- Exact alarms: to deliver reminders at the time you set.
- Run at startup: to re-register scheduled reminders after your phone restarts.
- Photos and storage (Android 12 and earlier): only when you pick a plant photo from your gallery. Photos are optional.
The app does not access your camera or microphone.
4. Photos
A photo you choose is kept as a copy in the app’s internal storage. Your original gallery photo is never changed or deleted, and photos are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Replacing a photo deletes the previous copy, and deleting the plant or deleting all records deletes the copy too.
5. Backup
The app has no backup or cloud sync of its own. However, if Google backup is turned on for your phone, Android’s automatic backup may copy the app’s data (plants, history, settings, and photo copies) to your own Google account, and it can be restored on a new phone signed in to the same account. Google handles this according to your device settings, and we cannot access the backed-up data. You can turn off Google backup in your phone’s settings.
6. Deleting your information
- Delete this plant on the plant details screen removes that plant, its history, its photo, and its scheduled reminders.
- Delete all records in Settings removes all plants, history, photos, and settings.
- Uninstalling the app removes all app data and cache from your device.
Because we keep no copy, there is no separate deletion request process. Deleted records cannot be recovered.
7. Children
PlantTempo is not directed at children and does not collect any personal information, including age.
