Privacy Policy

Sprintly (“the app”) is built and operated by Align Place Corp.. The app works without an account, and data created without signing in never leaves the device. Only when you sign in with Google do your account details and board data sync to Firebase.

1. What is processed

• Board data — task titles, notes, due dates, status and completion times, tags, sprint names, date ranges, colors and status, plus app settings such as language. All of it is entered by you or generated as you use the app.
• Google account details — only when signed in: the user identifier (uid), email address, display name and profile photo URL provided by Firebase Authentication, used to show your profile and sync your own data.
• Purchase details — when you buy or restore Pro: the order and purchase token issued by Google Play, the product ID, purchase and refund times, the anonymous user identifier created by our purchase management provider, and your country and platform. Used only to confirm the purchase and unlock Pro.

The app does not request or store camera, photo, contact or location data. Payment details such as card numbers are handled by Google Play and never reach the app or the developer. No advertising SDK, analytics, crash reporting or push notifications are used.

2. Without signing in

Guest board data is stored only in the app's local storage (AsyncStorage) on the device and is never transmitted. Uninstalling the app or clearing its app data removes it permanently.

3. With Google sign-in

Signed-in users are authenticated through Firebase Authentication, and the board snapshot is stored in Cloud Firestore under users/{your uid}/private/. Security rules allow reads and writes only for the signed-in user whose uid matches the document. Changes are saved on the device first, then batched and written once.

4. Why it is processed

• Creating, showing, searching and tracking tasks and sprints
• Storing and syncing board data for signed-in users across devices
• Showing your profile and managing the sign-in state
• Confirming Pro purchases and handling purchase restores
• Responding to enquiries and privacy requests

5. Retention and deletion

Board data is never deleted just because time has passed. Completed tasks and sprints stay until you remove them. Account details and cloud board data are deleted when you delete your account, when you ask us to, or when they are no longer needed.

In the app, Profile › Delete account removes that account’s cloud data and the copy of that account stored on the device straight away. Purchase records are retained by Google Play and our purchase management provider as transaction records for as long as the law requires. See the account and data deletion guide.

6. Processors and international transfers

The app relies on the following providers, and data may be processed outside the Republic of Korea.

• Google LLC — Google sign-in (Firebase Authentication) and board sync (Cloud Firestore)
• Google LLC — Google Play billing and purchase verification
• RevenueCat, Inc. — purchase receipt validation and Pro entitlement management
• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting of this web page and related access logs

7. No sale or sharing

Board data and account details are never sold. The providers above process data only as needed to run the app's features.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing of your personal data. Write to the contact below; we may confirm the email address used to sign in to verify the request.

9. Children

The app is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

If the app's features, providers or applicable law change, this policy is updated and the effective date above is revised.
